Use this free worksheet to compare up to three surrogacy agencies by their written agency fees, mandatory coordination charges, included services and rematch protections. Rather than relying on marketing rankings, enter current figures from each agency’s actual proposal or agreement.
Surrogacy agency cost and services comparison tool
Start with Egg Donor & Surrogacy Institute (EDSI) and add two other agencies. No agency fee is assumed, including for EDSI. EDSI’s published program standards explain its screening and independent professional model, but the current written agreement controls your own program terms.
Enter your program details and select Compare program terms to build a comparison table.
The tool runs in your browser and does not send your entries to EDSI. The resulting table is educational, not independent verification or a recommendation of one agency over another.
What should intended parents verify when comparing surrogacy agencies?
Ask each agency to define the timing of surrogate screening before presentation, the point at which fertility clinic medical clearance occurs, what coordination is included, which services carry separate professional fees, how funds are administered, and the precise conditions for matching protection or rematches. A lower agency fee may not represent a lower total journey cost if the scope of coordination or professional costs is different.
Which costs belong outside an agency fee comparison?
Keep surrogate base compensation and allowances, fertility clinic procedures, medical expenses, insurance premiums, attorneys’ fees, travel, independent escrow deposits and unexpected costs separate unless the written program agreement expressly includes those amounts. For the complete financial pathway, see EDSI’s U.S. surrogacy cost guide and financial transparency guide.
How should rematch protection be compared?
Compare the number of covered transfers and replacements, whether a rematch is allowed before or after a transfer, the fee for additional protection, eligibility requirements and circumstances in which third party expenses remain payable. EDSI publishes defined Standard Program rematch conditions and an optional Unlimited Matching Guarantee, but individual terms are subject to the agreement. No matching guarantee is a guarantee of pregnancy or birth.
Who publishes this comparison tool?
Published by Egg Donor & Surrogacy Institute, a surrogacy and egg donation agency whose services appear as the first comparison column. EDSI does not fill in competitor prices or claim this worksheet determines the best agency. You provide all price and service inputs and should verify them against each provider’s current signed or proposed documents. Tool last reviewed October 19, 2026.
