Egg Donor & Surrogacy Institute was founded in 2001 by Parham Zar, who serves as Founder and Managing Director. His work has focused on surrogacy, egg donation, intended parent guidance, surrogate support, and third party reproduction for more than 25 years.
EDSI works with intended parents throughout the United States and internationally, including LGBTQIA+ families, single intended parents, couples, and families using egg donation or previously created embryos. EDSI also recruits and supports gestational surrogates and egg donors.
Structured Surrogacy Coordination
Independent Professional Safeguards
EDSI coordinates the stages of a surrogacy journey from candidate preparation and matching through clinic review, legal coordination, insurance and escrow readiness, pregnancy support, delivery planning, and postpartum follow through.
Medical eligibility and treatment decisions are made by fertility clinics. Legal advice and parentage work are handled by independent reproductive attorneys. Client funds are managed through independent third party bonded escrow providers rather than by EDSI.
