These requirements were set forth in order to keep you healthy and ensure that the baby will grow in a hospitable environment. Many of these requirements have to do with internal health, though there are some that have to do with external factors. These requirements have been honed with years of experience in finding women who enjoy being Surrogates and building hundreds of families.

Become A Surrogate
This type of surrogacy is Gestational Surrogacy, meaning the Surrogate carries an embryo that has no biological relationship to her. The egg and sperm are from other people and then they are implanted using In-Vitro.
Basic Requirements
Make Sure You Meet the Basic Requirements
Before applying, it’s important to make sure you qualify. Here’s what we look for in every surrogate:
You’re between 21 and 40 years old
You’re a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder
You live free of smoking, drug, and alcohol use (testing is required)
You’ve given birth before and are currently raising or have raised a child
Your previous pregnancies and deliveries were free from major complications
Your Body Mass Index (BMI) is 32 or below

These requirements help ensure your safety and the success of the surrogacy journey. If you meet all of them, you’re ready for the next step.
